I can’t believe on how much I waited to read this; this is straight up a loveable classic, and within enjoy the movies you will be obsessed with the book also!! The books from this isn’t the experience from the movies, they aren’t the same but are very similar and simple and you get up getting the point after a while。 It’s a light loveable read! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

Very cute and nice to read, I also love the nonsensical world。 It was only the ending that was a bit abrupt and inelegant for my tastes。 I'm definitely interested in the annotated version to understand the background better。 Very cute and nice to read, I also love the nonsensical world。 It was only the ending that was a bit abrupt and inelegant for my tastes。 I'm definitely interested in the annotated version to understand the background better。 。。。more

I feel like I’m supposed to like it, but enjoying nonsense (which is the whole point of this book, I suppose?) seems not something my grownup self is really good at。 I have become a boring adult haha

Finished reading aloud to the 7yo, great times! I’m going to make a list of all the poetry & stories referenced in the book & have my youngers learn them beforehand so that we get the jokes。

Maybe I'm just too old to enjoy this, but I usually enjoy children's books。 It's more like a bad fever dream than anything else。 There's tons of chaos and nonsense, but it's not even an enjoyable kind of chaos。 Everyone is tense and rude, including Alice。 It's like the author decided that kids liked all things nonsensical and didn't take into account whether any of this was actually enjoyable or fun or exciting。The only plus is that it wasn't boring。 There's always something happening。 Maybe I'm just too old to enjoy this, but I usually enjoy children's books。 It's more like a bad fever dream than anything else。 There's tons of chaos and nonsense, but it's not even an enjoyable kind of chaos。 Everyone is tense and rude, including Alice。 It's like the author decided that kids liked all things nonsensical and didn't take into account whether any of this was actually enjoyable or fun or exciting。The only plus is that it wasn't boring。 There's always something happening。 。。。more

I definitely liked it much more when I read it at a younger age and re-reading a few years later didn't have the same impact but I still liked and enjoyed it! I’ve listened to this on Audible。 This was my very first audiobook and Scarlett Johansson’s narration was amazing! What to say about this timeless story? It’s fantastic albeit there is something lost not knowing the time when it was written。 Still a classic to be remembered for centuries to come。

I love this book, though I have no idea why。 It's so weird and trippy。 I listened to the Amazon prime classics audiobook and loved the narrator! I love this book, though I have no idea why。 It's so weird and trippy。 I listened to the Amazon prime classics audiobook and loved the narrator! 。。。more

What a truly bizarre book this was! I truly enjoyed it, especially it’s fast-pacing, witty writing, and creativity。 However, the ending was not my favorite, and I do prefer the movies over the book! I think this story just needs those crazy visuals!

Hooter: A young girl in the Victorian era entering a fantasy land wilder than her imaginationI took a moment to write that hooter! Alice in Wonderland is so ingrained in popular culture that she needs no introduction nor the suspense ending that the book has。 The irony with classics is most of us read them in our childhood often missing the finer nuances of why these are masterpieces。 Going through it again, I realised the amount of wit Lewis Carroll had doused this book in and could appreciate Hooter: A young girl in the Victorian era entering a fantasy land wilder than her imaginationI took a moment to write that hooter!
